White day: a Labyrinth named School (2001 Original)

A First Person Horrorgame from Korea

 and Cult Classic:

Many to this day consider this the scariest Game they have ever played. This Game also got a Remake in 2015 (mobile), 2017 (PC, Consoles). 

But even if you have played said Remake before the Original is still worth checking out, it has a lot of Differences and many prefer it over the Remake, myself included.

Story: Your Protagonist wants to give a Girl he likes White day candy. And because he is the Protagonist in a Horror Game he has to leave it in her Class in School... IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

But when he arrives at the School his only Exit gets blocked off. 

Now he is trapped in the School and must find a Way out.

First Off. EXPECT JANK. There is no way to say this politely but do expect a Rough Ride with this one. Oldschool Puzzles (have Pen and Paper ready), Backtracking, limited Saves (just like the Ink Ribbons in Resident Evil),             no Autosave, limited Healingitems.

But If you decide to try this one you will see that this Game was Years ahead of anything else at the Time. It does Stuff that predates even Amnesia the dark descent.

And even some Stuff you would normally not see in Horror games like Dialogue Options that change the Ending you are getting. 

There are 8 Endings in Total.

And the optional Ghost Encounters... oh don´t won´t to spoil too much. So there is a lot of Game here with tons of Replay value.

Important: If you are on newer Windows Versions 

like Windows 10 for example do not use the "whiteday.exe". This Game is totally broken when you launch this exe (Lighting does not work, Inventory is bugged, Interactions don´t work).

Instead use the "wdlaunch.exe" instead:

Than just select "Launch White day" and have Fun with a now mostly bugfree Gamingexperience.
