A downloadable game

This Game doesn´t need any Introduction. This Game put the Indie Horror Scene to the Mainstream (arguably Amnesia the dark descent before it).

It also launched the Career of many Youtubers like Markiplier, Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye,..

But In case for this one Guy that has never heard of it before: This is an old Unity Game where you are dropped into a Forest and are tasked to find 8 pages.

Why you ask? Just because you could make a Game out of this in 2012 and become the most famous Youtuber posting your Reactions online.

Hard to believe now is it. This Premise alone was good enough for a Game. Most People probably didn´t even play it. They watched their favourite Youtuber instead. Oh yeah... simpler Times.

I add this here so you have better Context to why this Game got its Status and why you should temper your Expectations accordingly when you decide to play this now.

It was "THE SHIT" in 2012,
but now seems like a Relic from a different Era...

This Download right here contains to my knowlegde EVERY SINGLE VERSION of this Game. From the barebones 0.9 Version that doesn´t even have a Menu to the Final 0.9.7 Build.

I had almost all of them since the Year the Game came out but thanks to the Internet Archive I was able to get them all (You guys are the true heroes of Preservation).

The Developers who made this Game also made a Sequel called "Slender the Arrival" which you can find here:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/252330/Slender_The_Arrival/ btw. This Download features both the Original Unity Version and it´s new remake (check the Beta Branches). So it´s well worth the price.

This Upload exist soley for Preservation purposes.

This game released around the peak of the creepypasta era and around a period where first-person jumpscare horror was still considered a novel concept.

The stars aligned for Slender: The Eight Pages and there is plenty of proof in favor of that.

Yep. The right Game at the right Time.
